Week 22: 18/06 - 24/06
We did it
It’s official, the whole family lives in Wales. It was a tough week of back and fourths, cleaning and sorting, loading and unloading, but now it’s done. Old house keys are handed over and we await to hear our fate from the deposit gods. Shout out to Zee, Ben, Roxane and Sons, and Lizzie and Callum. We couldn’t have done it without you!
I’ll admit that the Monday we got in the house was overwhelming. We thought we might be in over our heads. But the following Monday we had our first day here and it was lovely. Walks by the sea, family time in the garden, and planning what we’re going to tackle first. And more importantly, what we want to do to it.

Dads birthday
My birthday fell during the move. I didn’t want to plan anything incase moving was going to shit and I would have to do a trip to Wales. But we managed to get a lot of done by Friday and had plans for the rest of the stuff. I could take the day off. It felt like a totally different birthday. Not because half my life was in another country but because I was able to spend it with two humans that I have so much love for. Which is twice the amount of humans to previous years. Thank you Zee for the cake. Thank you everyone else for lovely gifts. And thank Tee and Roland for making my day.

Poorly
The boy is poorly. His sneezes have gone from these adorable moments to full explosions. If you’re in the firing line, you better take cover. He’s also turned incredibly loud and grouchy, you would be too if you were struggling to breathe and didn’t know why. It’s hard not to feel sorry but boy does he give you shit when he’s not in the mood.
