Week 20: 04/06 - 10/06
River's house
Roland made a new friend this week; River. River is a rare friend as he's younger than Roland and by quite a margin (16 weeks!). He was very impressed with Moses basket. Tee had a little bit of a hard time getting him all the way Sale, but she managed and that's all that matters. The took the long road home so he could sleep but Roland also got a check tram ride home.

Family brunch
We're coming to the end of our time here in Manchester and the main thing we'll miss (apart from most of you) is the cafe culture. We have an okay local cafe in Wales but it's not going to be able to hold a candle to what we're used to here. So we went for (probably) the last brunch outing in Manchester for while. Roland was very well behaved and almost left with a girlfriend.

It's been a quiet week
Honestly, it's been a lot of packing. A lot of "can you hold the baby while I pack this box". We're excited to get Roland into his new home. We're excited to see what he makes of village life. I'm excited to take him into the mountains. Tee is excited to take him to the beach. It's an exciting time but this last week has been stressful. But today (10/06/2025) we exchanged contracts on the property and are now legal bound to become home owners next Monday.
