Week 16: 07/05 - 13/05

Animal playtime

Roland had his first time playing with an animal. And when I say "playing with" I mean "was in the same room as". It's more that Tee and I wanted to go and see the kitten. Roland was too busy playing with a slinky.

3 nap schedule

With the glorious weather Tee has been taking double advantage of the heat and Roland's willingness to sleep for 2 hours on the morning pram walk. She's been adventuring all the way up to Philip's Park! Previously she would usually just hang around the canal thinking he's going to wake up within 30 minutes.

This has brought Roland down to the sort-after "3 nap schedule" we've been reading about online. You see, while you would like him to sleep more (more time to do what you want to do) you also don't want to have to get him to sleep 5 times a day. Swings and roundabouts.

IKEA

In search of (fake) meatballs, Tee took him all the way to Ikea. On the hunt, they found a lost Gorilla named Bill. Roland took him under his wing and hasn't let go since.

Story time

The library puts on story time for kids. He went with cousin Sunny and Auntie Zee. It was a cute time and we're trying to teach him that the best way to scare a Tory is to read and get rich.
