Week 15: 30/04 - 06/05
I bet you're wondering "where is week 15?!"
Well I messed up but because this is the internet.. Nobody's gonna know
The heat
Hot damn; the boys first heat wave. He spent most of the days naked. Mum got to make use of these muslin clothes that she bought for him. He handled it well. And boy did he sleep! Still from week 4 we've been putting him to bed around 8pm. His day time naps have come down to an hour MAX! Two days out of the heat wave we put him down for his last nap and were shocked when his timer went over one hour.
"He's doing two sleep cycles" we said "He'll be up in 30 minutes". Then it was 2 hours on the clock. Still sleeping.
Now it's bed time, he's been napping for 3 hours and we're thinking "when the heck are we going to get him to bed!" But the boy keeps sleeping. Until around midnight! We couldn't believe it. He also had some long naps in the pram which means Tee can stay outside longer.
Bath with his mum
It's no surprise to anyone that Tee ✨LOVES✨ a bath. Every bath since his first bath, Tee poses the question: "Should I get in with him?" And she finally did it.
He loves the bath. He started to smile when you bring him into the bathroom to take his clothes off. And he's learnt how to splash around. But he rarely smiles in the bath. This time though, full of smiles.
Hands
So last week he was putting everything in his mouth, great. However, from that he's learnt that he can grab and move things. So now he's grabbing everything! You putting his sleeve in his top, grabs it. You're putting the sticky tabs on his nappy, grabs them. Putting him to sleep at night, grabs your collar. Getting pissed off, grabs your arm hair.

Nicknames
We have a few nicknames for the boy that we use; Rollie, Rollis, Rohlíček (Roli-check). Then we have some that we use but aren't really great for day to day; Rollie Pollie, Roll Deep, Rollie Pollie Gucamole, Rollie Pollie Pudding and Pie Kissed the girls and made them cry, Rolland from Poland. But we thought we'd got them all. However..
Uncle Ben sprung an amazing nickname on him this week: Rolo
