Week 14: 23/04 - 29/04
Mum's birthday
The boy helped his mum celebrate her 32nd Birthday this week. They had a lovely day going to a cafe and then later we all went to get ice cream. We then had a lovely day in the park on Saturday together. A wholesome affair and apparently the "best birthday yet". Although I feel that was down to the boys efforts and not mine.
We tried to get a photo booth memento with the boy but it didn't go to plan. He hated being in the booth so we missed the first and last shot, and we couldn't get him to face the camera while in the carrier. Very funny though.

Dad's Marathon
Sunday was marathon day for me, as well as the hottest day of the year (not facts but "my truth"). Tee brought the boy to the finish line to watch and support me. I was too messed up to see them, dead focused on getting over the line. But apparently Tee launch Roland into the air like Simba's birth scene in the Lion King. I can't believe I missed it but I'm sure it was a fun experience for him.

Everything in the mouth phase
We're getting into the stage where everything needs to go into his mouth. It started maybe last week when he found his hands, then he learnt to suck his fingers. This morning he's gotten very consistent with putting a toy in his mouth.
