Week 12: 09/04 - 15/04

New pram tech

Got some new pram tech this week. Just in time for the sun to disappear, we bought him a sun shade for the pram. Gone are the days he would be rudely awoken by sun in his eyes.. because the sun has gone away. But should we vacation in a sunny destination, we'd be set.

We also bought him a Rocking Rockit. It's like a large version of the old vibration system in playstation controllers. Very obnoxious. I'm not sold. But Tee has high hopes.

Mum's night out

Tee's friend Ali was playing in a show in Ancoats and her friend had bought a ticket and got a baby sitter. Because our little lad is a bit young for a baby sitter, it was all on me. Sure, 3 hours alone with the boy isn't the same as what Tee did when I went to London but I don't have boobs. Anyway, they had fun, the boy cried a lot, I had a beer.

DIY Mobile

A joint parents project giving the boy a new sensory mobile station.

Star suit

The first thing Tee asked my mum to make for Roland was this star suit. We remembered this week that we need to get him in it before he's too big for it. Good news, he's the perfect size for it.

Easter photo shoot

Now that the weekly baby massage is finished, Tee has been looking for other things to do with her Mum group. This week there was an Easter photo shoot and footprint painting. Cuteness ensued. Side note: Tee has taken great pride in what the boy wears.
