Auntie Zee came to visit in the hospital. Outside of the hospital staff, Zee was his first visitor. She was very teary but still managed to help mum and dad by looking after you while they slept.

24/01/25

Home time! Finally discharged from the hospital. We underestimated how hard it would be to get him to sleep at home as he slept so well in the hospital. We ended up staying up in shifts.

It was a tired day. After a few days in the hospital and then a relatively sleepless first night at home, any rest we could get we took. All three of us.

Going outside for the first time. Quite an exciting time.. for the adults. Again being cooped up in the hospital for a few days had us dreaming of introducing him to trees and water. He slept the whole time he was outside so he still doesn't know what nature is.

Nain and Taid came over today. Nain said he was the second cutest baby she'd ever seen (first being me).

Auntie Em came over today. Roland is pretty good at sleeping and Auntie Em is very good at escaping. As soon as she left, he started crying.
